Get a Taste of Louisiana’s Cajun Coast

The Forest Restaurant is proud to have served Franklin and the surrounding area for over 42 years. We feature home-cooked Cajun meals that are well seasoned and delicious. We are open Monday-Saturday, from 5:30 am until 9:30 pm. 

Each morning, from 5:30 till 10 am., our full breakfast buffet features great hot breakfast items, including crispy bacon, grits, scrambled eggs and our famous hash brown casserole. Fresh baked biscuits are hot and ready when you arrive.

Lunch dining also features a home-cooked luncheon buffet, from 11am until 2pm Monday thru Friday as well as our a la carte. For Saturday lunch we offer only our a la carte menu.

We are closed on all Sundays.

Our menu includes great po boys, including Fresh Fried Shrimp, oysters, and Louisiana Crawfish. Our hamburger is made of all fresh ground meat, never frozen... and delicious.

From 11am until 9:30 pm... we feature many Cajun dishes and great American specialties. Our steaks are USDA Choice Ribeyes and Filets we cut fresh daily.
